Fall River Flood Recovery

FlyWater, inc. worked directly with a design team (Otak) to develope a restoration strategy that works to reestablish form and function and to mimic the pool-rife channel type appropriate to Fall River for the Town of Estes Park. To meet resiliency goals through joint focus on risk reduction and stream health, the design gaols were to protect property, stabilize bank slopes, generate fsh habitat, and ensure that existing and constructed foodplains function. Once design was completed, FlyWater constructed the project in two (2) phases. The first phase was located from the Rocky Mountain National Park to the Historical Fall River Hydropland and the second was located just down stream of the hydroplant.
