River Technician

Sam joined FlyWater in 2021 and plays a key role in supporting river restoration and access projects throughout the West. With a degree in Geography from the University of Colorado Boulder, he brings expertise in GIS mapping, field data collection, surveying, and construction oversight. Sam is also an experienced heavy equipment operator and contributes to both technical planning and on-the-ground implementation.

Driven by a passion for rivers, fisheries, and conservation, Sam is committed to delivering high-quality, field-ready solutions for every project. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors with his wife Lydia and their two dogs, Larry and Willa.
