River Technician

Sam joined the FlyWater team in May 2021, driven by his love for rivers and fishing. With a Geography degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder, he's got a solid background in GIS analysis, field collection, surveying, and operations management.

Since joining FlyWater, Sam has developed new skills, including becoming a proficient equipment operator. He has also worked on several successful projects, showcasing his ability to apply his expertise and contribute to the team's success.

Outside of work, Sam loves spending time outdoors with his wife Lydia and they’re two dogs Larry and Willa. His enthusiasm for the outdoors and his skills in GIS analysis and conservation make him a great asset to the FlyWater team.
